Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Online Gaming GM's Dream
Following a brief run earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore available through early December. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at over $1,300. And there are multiple package options available here.
The Main Attraction
The standout feature is definitely permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Bundle Tiers
Entry Level
The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Intermediate Package
The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the annual collection from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual are included here, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, dungeons, urban centers, and continents in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously an even better deal for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
Charitable Component
As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
